At Our Core
LBC was founded in 2002 by current President and CEO Charles Laughley, with a goal of improving the lives of people in our communities through roadway infrastructure. Charles was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and immigrated to the United States as a refugee following the Vietnam War. After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Civil Engineering, he worked for several years in bridge construction before deciding to turn his vision of owning a business into reality. LBC was built on four core values: Safety First, Quality Work, On-Time Performance, and Our People. We strive to uphold these principles every day, both in the field and in the office.
Today, with over 2,400 completed projects, we take great pride in being a minority-owned business and in the work we deliver. Our team is dedicated to providing a comprehensive, start-to-finish experience on every project. We look forward to continued growth and the future ahead for the LBC team.
