At Our Core
LBC was founded in 2002 by current President & CEO, Charles Laughley, with a goal of improving the lives of people around us through roadways. Charles was born in Saigon, Vietnam and migrated as a refugee to the United States, as a result of the Vietnam War. After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Charles worked for a few years in Bridge Construction until ultimately deciding to turn an idea of owning a business, into a reality. LBC was created on the foundation of 4 core values of Safety First, Quality Work, On-Time Performance and Our People. We strive to exemplify these core values each and every day we operate, in the field and in the office.
Today, with over 2,100 projects complete, we take great pride in being a minority owned business and the work we create. Our team is dedicated to providing an all-encompassing experience from start to finish. We are excited for our future ahead and for what is to come with the LBC team.
